v Haus Graaff Dobermanns is a small, privately owned kennel with just a few dogs. We are located in the beautiful rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains in north central Georgia. I have trained and owned Dobermanns for over 15 years, training and titling in the sports of schutzhund, K9 ProSports and also search and rescue, training one of my dogs with the help of the Orange county K9 unit as a certified cadaver dog. He and I, along with other members of the team, have assisted in many searches in the state of Florida.
Dale and I share a love for all dogs, but especially dobermann all of our lives. Dale has had extensive experience with other breeds, mainly german shepherds and boxers, while I have stuck mainly with dobermann. Dale is an experienced trainer and handler, and is especially good at problem solving.
All of our dogs are from European working lines such as Weyermuhle, Frankenhorst, Kloster-Kamp, etc., and while we are hobby breeders and breed only when we feel the breeding will further improve our chosen breed, we strive to produce healthy dobermanns with the correct character, temperament, and fundamental structure to perform well as police or sport dogs. They also make wonderful companions and family protectors. We concentrate on quality, not quantity.
Our current brood bitch(s) is conformationally sound, health screened, and titled in several working disciplines. Various health tests include vWD, Thyroid, Hips/Elbows, Eyes, and Cardio.
v Haus Graaff pups are sold with a full, written contract that guarantees that each pup will be free of hip dysplasia and eye disease. Pups are sold as companions and working dogs. Whenever possible, we try to make combinations with vWD clear parents. Puppies have also been wormed and received their first shots.
We try to make combinations that avoid lines that have greater than average numbers of early, sudden deaths, and try to target lines that have a greater than average life expectancy, as well as possessing correct temperament and great working qualities. Physical structure as it relates to working ability is also emphasized.
We know our dogs, their bloodlines, and the consistent traits that they produce. We require detailed information from our buyers regarding their personality, goals, and experience. We try to match each pup with the best owner and there is no "pick of the litter" We require extensive information from potential buyers so that we may match them with the right pup and determine if a dobermann is for you. All potential homes are thoroughly screened. We want our pups and buyers to be happy in their new homes.
vom Haus Graaff Kennel DOES NOT breed or sell blue, fawn (isabella), or white dobermanns. We do not produce "king" (oversized) dobermanns, nor do we sell to third parties, brokers, pet shops, or sell any dog for use as a "junkyard" dog.
We want our pups to go to the right home and live long, happy lives. If there is an occasion where a dog requires a new home, we will do all we can to help. We also like our buyers to keep us informed on their pups progress, and we welcome photos, and updates. If we can assist our buyers in any way, we are happy to do this.
We invite you to take a look around. Keep in mind that this site is still under construction, and please feel free to call or email if you have any questions or comments.

This site is dedicated to my beloved boys, Ky, Devil, and Donner.
You were gone too soon and left
me to go on without you.
And to a beloved german shepherd, Max, we can't wait to see you all again.
